The site has been down for awhile, I know.  But, it's back now!  There are quite a few changes to this site that I'm wrapping my head around  ;)  So much has happened in the months that have passed.  Lots (and lots) of knitting as well as a big move (checked off another state on my list).  I'm slowly getting photos and prices over to the site. There are tons on the Facebook page and new releases being posted weekly (sometimes a couple of items per week).
I've asked a few questions (on facebook) to help with what items you would like to see more of, when you would appreciate releases to be posted, etc.  I love hearing your ideas.  Message the page or post a comment ....

Be sure to check us out and "like" us on FaceBook  =)

So, the site went under construction starting yesterday.  I'm planning a bit of a face-lift, adding more items, that sort of stuff.  I'm also thinking of adding items from a few crafty friends.  It is in the works, though it may not be running when the site re-opens.  *Fingers crossed I will be able to share their items with you when the site re-opens :)
On that note, I would like to invite everyone to visit and like a facebook page.  It is a husband and wife photography/videography team.  Everything is very reasonably priced as they are not for profit.  Help me help this page by liking and sharing their beautiful work.  You can send a private message if you have any questions and there is also a Contact tab  :)
I  hope everyone is having a Wonderful Wednesday!  I'm off to run errands and then get my knit on ;)

Wow, it has been a long time since I've written anything.  Considering I'm horrible at this whole "blog thing" I guess that's not really a bad thing :-p
I took March off and part of April to work on special orders and gifts (still have yet to get photos posted).  I've made a decent amount of Sugar Scrub during that time, too.  Extremely pleased how that turned out.  All of my testers have simply adored the scrubs (yay!)  I have made a few items for my favorite girl's upcoming birthday.  Toe-less socks (my girlie loves pedicures) and sugar scrub for her nightly foot care regime.  I've also made little "give away gifts" for a handful of new FaceBook Page Fans.  They haven't been sent out yet, so I don't think I'll mention what they are.  I'm planning on something soon to show my appreciation to my older fans - those that "liked" the page in the early days.
Lately I have been working on knitted cupcakes.  A co-worker is throwing a baby shower for her sister and is giving them as favors to the attending guest.  I'm very pleased at how they look and can't wait to get photos up.
In the meantime, while I'm whipping these cupcakes up, my mind has been wondering what to make next ....  I may have a "contest" of sorts and take suggestions from fans  :)
With that said, stay tuned for "Testers Wanted" and " Gift Give Away's"
I hope everyone has a Wondrous Wednesday!

P.S
57 total likes as of today - I wonder if we can get closer to 100 by the end of May?!

So, for my birthday last year, my very best friend got me some sugar scrub.  I absolutely love it!  Which got me thinking, I should make something like this!  So, I did.  I got off work early yesterday and made up a couple of jars.  I have had two testers that just love them (each tester had a different scent).  Each said that it left their skin feeling so soft (which is the goal).  And, bonus - they each loved their scents   =)
So, order a jar or two up for yourself or anyone that might need a little spoiling

Just a quick update:  There is now a proper photo of the Breast Feeding Hat on the Introducing page :)    More photos will be added to this page over the next couple of weeks.  So, check back for new goodies  :)

So, March just snuck right up on me.  Things have been going great on the photography side of life.  My Knitted Goodies  facebook page had it's very first give-away.  It was such a success that I'm trying to think of a good one to do for the photography's facebook page  ;)
New items will be posted soon on the Introducing page - keep a look out!  Have a Happy Week, everyone <3

It's funny how quickly things happen.  In just 10 days my decision to take the month of March off makes even more sense.  The day after my last post, I accepted a new job.  It seems to be going quite well and should still allow for plenty of family time and knitting (something my last position did not).  Tomorrow starts another week.  Thankfully, I got most of my "housework" done after work on Monday, so today has plans of knitting and maybe a trip to the shop.  I have a few photos to upload and a few things to take photos of, so hopefully that will happen within the week (*fingers crossed).
I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day (I was presented with a surprise picnic for lunch, it was quite wonderful).  :)
Have a happy week!

Taking the month of March off and away from orders has a lot to do with the amount of new items that I've been wanting to create and offer.  Filling orders (and trying to do so in a timely fashion) has not afforded me much time for new projects.  I want to offer more than just a couple of different items in multiple colors, I want to offer a lot of different items in multiple colors!  Today I am working on two new items; I am hoping to have one up on the Introducing page before the week is over.  I started that page for newly released items, in hopes to bring extra attention to my new things as they become available rather than take the chance of them getting lost in the midst of all of the other items.  There's also a FaceBook Share link as well as a Twitter link on that page to help spread the word of newly arrived items.  My most recently added item is a Travel Cup Carrier and Cozy in one.   I have plans to make more of this type of item because the idea of it just really tickles me :)
Well, the needles are screaming my name ... back to knitting  :
Happy Sunday, everyone!  Have a glorious day!!  =)

It is the start of a new month, and after a lot of contemplating, I have made a decision.  As of March 01, 2012 I will be taking a month off from working on orders.  You may, of course, place an order for later making (you will not receive it before mid-April at the earliest).  March is going to be spent working on new projects, photography, and as much family time as I can soak up.  I will periodically update my blog and twitter worlds, and of course, facebook, with happenings and photos.
So, if you would like to place an order, now is the time if you don't want to wait until Spring  =)

Happy Hump Day

Been working a lot on knitted orders as well as a bunch of online 'things'.  Along with my FB page, my Etsy shop, my Twitter (which isn't anything, really) and my photography, I am also doing a lot of paperwork and training for a new (part time) job and I'm helping my church with online goodness as well (getting upcoming events posted online type of stuff).  Got to spread the Good Word and hopefully get some more people to join us for a service or two (or, fingers crossed, become members!)  That would be lovely!!
So, basically, just taking a moments break from it all to jot down a few words about everything  ;)
I hope everyone is having a Tanti Tuesday
=)
