After getting to spend some QT with a friend flying through (long layovers CAN be awesome!) I spent the weekend down south with some GREAT friends.  Got a little bit of knitting done during the late night chat Friday night (or morning, since it was closer to 5am)  Had tons of fun running around Saturday and had an awesome dinner (sushi!!)  Sunday is in full swing - puppies and kiddos galore (well, really 1 of each right now, but there's 2 more kiddos on their way)!
It's going to be a busy week with the holidays, but I'm hoping to get some knitting it.  I just got a bunch of new patterns (scarves, baby items, leg warmers, ear warmers, new mitt patterns) and I'm antsy to start playing around with them.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I don't feel that this past week has been very productive, which upsets me a little.  I've been messing around with this one pattern, trying to figure out the best needle size etc.  I've already "made" the item about half a dozen times, taken it apart right at the end because I wasn't happy with the sizing.  I really hope I'll be able to get photos of it before the new year.  In the meantime, I have a couple of pending orders, items that need photos, items that need to be sent, and an item that is still en-route to its new home,
Something completely unrelated:  A good friend of ours will be having a bit of a layover on her flight home for the holidays - so, we're making a trip to the airport to make her layover less boring  =)      Soooo, I should finish getting ready!  Happy weekend to everyone!!

Here I sit.  So many different patterns roaming through my head.  New ones, old ones, there's so many that I want to do!  I still have photos that need to be uploaded of some recently finished projects.  But, that takes time from knitting  ;)    Hopefully, this weekend I will get some more photos taken.  In the meantime, I want to work on a new pattern for the finger-less mitts and I really want to make some socks and some leg warmers (the '80's are peaking through).
